In my research, I focus on analyzing stool DNA samples collected from diverse regions worldwide. By examining these samples, I aim to evaluate the global prevalence and frequency of anthelmintic drug resistance in Ancylostoma caninum. This work sheds light on the distribution of drug-resistant strains and contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors influencing resistance development. Ultimately, my findings will support improved management and treatment strategies for canine hookworm infections, ensuring better health outcomes for affected animals worldwide.
